INDEBIOC has the FIRST BANK OF STEM CELLS OBTAINED FROM DENTAL PULP, ADIPOSE TISSUE, UMBILICAL CORD TISSUE AND PLACENTA with facilities in Mexico City (Lomas de Chapultepec) certified for the management of mesenchymal stem cells with state-of-the-art technology that allows the efficient processing of samples.

Our biosafety laboratory level 2 (BSL2) has a sanitary license issued by the Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks (COFEPRIS) for “Disposition of organs, tissues and cells for therapeutic purposes” in the form of “Progenitor or Stem Cells Bank”; in addition to having scientific research agreements with health institutions and public and private education.

On the other hand, activities in the stem cell bank are monthly reported to the National Blood Transfusion Center (CNTS).

INDEBIOC has operating procedures based on national and international standards of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the American Association Tissue Bank (AATB) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), as well as the Official Mexican Standards corresponding to the General Law of Health.
